Was driving down the road yesterday and listening to xm radio, experienced a hissing noise from the radio then got the message "No signal" on the display. Didn't think anything of it as I was going through a construction zone at the time. "No signal" stayed on the display and no music quite a distance form the place. Phone rang so I pressed the answer button and " Telephone" displayed but it did not answer. Finally I pulled over and shut the car off and re started it and everything returned to normal. Strange..... as this was the first time any of this happened. Anyone have any idea of what could cause this?

I've had this problem...Goto this page... http://refresh.xmradio.ca/have your 8 digit radio code and follow the instructions.I've had to do this a cpl time.,,it's like the radio loses the signal and it only play 3 stations. This should solve your problem.

Thanks for the reply....I'm aware of this procedure but it isn't the problem. For no reason the bluetooth and the satellite radio both quit, as soon as I shut the engine off and restarted the vehicle, the bluetooth and the radio both came back. I did not have to refresh the radio. Any ideas what would cause this to happen?

possably a defective radio head unit. If you are still under warranty take to your dealer to have new radio ordered.
