Very good write-up. I don't remove the center console, but the rest is perfect.

Meh, not that hard to do

The biggest biatch was trying to squeeze the dash around the steering wheel for removal. No amount of Tetris playing will prepare you for the bullsh*t that ensues. Or you could just buy a wheel puller but I am impatient :chuckle:

you actually dont need a steering wheel puller to get the wheel off or on! just give er a good pull and she comes right off :D
Make sure you push it on far as you can, then use the nut to get it locked right down in place.
Also make sure you mark it on the column and the steering wheel or it can be a pain in the A** to line up haha

I wish it were that easy. I pulled my wheel until it started to flex and decided I'd rather not ruin it in the process.

If you're pulling it for the dash removal, just unbolt the steering shaft and let the whole assembly droop. You actually don't need to remove the steering wheel either if you unbolt the shaft.
