Wrong look for the car IMO.

The factory finish keeps the car classy looking.

Are you refering to the wheels? If so, I am torn. The powder coat sample I picked had more metal flake in it so it was brighter. But at certain angles the car looks plain mean now and I like that alot. I am looking for somebody local that can do "Black Chrome". If I find someone I think I will do the wheels, the door handles and the front grill. Anyway, thanks for the reply.

Lots of things I like about that look , but the "flatness" of the wheel color isn't one of them . What springs are you running?

I ended up in the same situation with the Q45 (F50) wheels I bought summer of 04. I thought they were more of a goldish/bronze but they ended up being brown. They work great for winter wheels, which you don't need in CA.

I didn't put the black center caps on this winter and it helped. I'll be stripping them this spring/summer and hope the "natural" color works better.

+1 to that.

It does sit very agressive.

The car sits very nice. Looks mean.

The shape of the rims compliment the car but the color is off. It seems too flat.

Is there any clear coat on them? If not, maybe a few coats of clearcoat would give the finish some depth and lustre.

I like it too.

I'd do the grille and door handles to match.

Rex's wheels were butt-a$$ UGLY.

I agree...they look nice and agressive. THe stance is nice too. What's important is not what everyone else thinks...it's whether you like it or not....

I'm about to get rid of the konigs this week and switch to these forged wheels...missed UPS delivery on them today as a matter of fact.

These look nice. How about some specifications?

The grey wheels on a crimson Q45 requires you to have a stars and bars screen on the back glass with "The South Shall Rise Again" stenciled on it.

Are those 18" maxima wheels? I could never dump mine that low with the 350z wheels on it now because of tire-fender contact.

Well thanks for the feed back.....They are 18" Maxima wheels and the car is sitting on a set of Wes's Califorina Custom springs with Tokicos. The color of the wheels are not what I picked out (Or atleast thought I picked out) but the "Flat" look varies depending on how clean they are and if they are waxed. I may try to use the powder coat as a "Base" coat and do a clear with metal flake or pearl but for now they roll and roll well. My heart is really set on Black Chrome. Anyway, thanks for the comments.

You mean he isn't going to do the reverse swap to 240SX hubs?

OMG, don't tell me I did this!!! Holy CRAP, I purchased the wrong wheel!!!!

...Joke...

The pic is just a representation... Jeff, you're always trying to scare me. Remember when I put the rotors on and you told me I had them on backwards??? I almost gave birth to a Hershey bar

The wheels are Motoforge SpeedGear 10 18x8 +35 offset. Bolt pattern = 5-114.3.

Manuf's site: http://www.ramserve.com/

I actually preferred the speedgear 14, however the 10's were the only ones available. I'm lazy tho so I don't mind since their easier to clean.

That

Looks

Gangster.

Honestly, I'd go even darker, like a deep gloss black, but that's me. I'd do the door handles body color and maybe the grille, but I do sorta like the silver grilles on those later G50s.
