It's done! It's hard to believe I'm actually driving this fabulous, beautiful car! Only 20 miles so far...I'm on the learning curve, but everything is simpler than I expected.(spent a couple hours in the carpot last night)I continue to be amazed at the interior space (I'm 6'2"/270+) without sacrificing the sporting nature. The blend of luxury/sport is seamless.I'm well pleased wth the deal/dealer...in fact beyond pleased. This car with a 46.4k sticker leased for $30+ a month less than a $39.1 Saab 9-5, and dead even with a Chrysler 300c (37k). I still can't fiqure how that's possible..but I like it!I am/was a diehard Saab nut for many reasons, but #1 was value..this car far exceeds....I'm excited! I'm sure I'll have questions, and issues..hopefully this board can help.

Because you'd own one if you did. It's very hard to seriously consider the 35 after test driving a 45. Trust me!

I also just traded a 2003 Saab 9-5 for a 2006 M35x. You are correct, the Infiniti is an unbelievable car. I am about the same height and weight as you, and I have a son who is also 6'2" and he has no problem sitting behind me. The blend of sportiness, technology and luxury is unbelievable. I bought a Black on Black, with the Rosewood interior. What a gorgeous combination. Unlike some of the other opinions, I also drove the M35 Sport and the M45 Sport, and still chose the M35X. I thought the steering was a little tighter on the 35x. The Sport models are defintely that; sporty. If Infiniti had an M45x, I would have chosen that. It really came down the the all wheel drive for me. I live deep in the Northwest where we can get a tremendous amount of snow, and the RWD Sport models just didn't seem like the logical choice. Maybe if I lived in the Sun belt, not the snow belt!

I test drove evey similar car before picking this - Saab 9-5 Sport; Audi A6 (both 3.2T and 4.2), Lexus GS300, BMW 530ix, 300C and this was by far the best deal.

I am sorry to see my Saab go (I've had 3 of the 9-5's) but now we are a total NICO family (my wife has a 2005 Armada!).

Happy Driving!

one full day and I'm still amased by this car..it seems a little fussy after so many years in Saabs...but it drives and handles like the real thing. My old 9000 is likened to a comfortable pair of loafers...but these new shoes..WOW!I'm finding the tech toys intuitive..even to an old guy..I'm using them all a little already...and finding them useful in daily work driving. The voice activated phone system is incredible! I do much of my phone work in the car and this makes it so much easier! So far so good. I need to fly from Atlanta on Friday, back on Tuesday...can't bear to leave this at the airport for 5 days....I'll be driving the old Saab...that will be telling....
