Hi All,

In reference to my I30 knock sensor problem that I repaired through the help of this great forum, the SES light came on last night on my way home from work.

Fortuneatly, I was able to get my NH inspection sticker yesterday morning with the SES light out. But now, this speed control code is pissing me off, cuz, I hate seeing the SES light on !!

I was able to hit AutoZone last night to find out the what the code was and reset it but, it's a good chance it will come back on.

So, once again I need all your help. Where is it located ? What does it do ? Can I replace it ? In the meantime, I'll sit tight. I didn't notice any change in performance when the light was on and the speedometer was functioning normally. Also, I got my inspection sticker so I have untill November to resolve this problem.

Thanks,Dave

Thats your VSS. Is your speedometer working fine? I'm guessing that with the rain that we got yesterday afternoon that maybe a little water got in the connector or that it possibly got knocked around when the knock sensor was fixed.

The Converted,

Ya, the spedometer is fine. I just took for a spin to the store, it came back on when I pulled into my driveway.

Thanks,Dave
