So I had a friend of the family replace the blend doors for the a/c,heater. He had to pull the steering column out and when he replaced it the horn along with all of the controls on the steering wheel do not work. And I'm assuming the airbag is now inop. His excuse was that the when he placed the steering column on the ground ,it must have over rotated 180* and broke. And the SLIP and VDC OFF are illuminated. He said that he would replace When he'd get around to it and it and everything will start workin again. This was 6 months ago. So is he blowing smoke up my a** because I've never hearer of a "clock spring"?!?!?!?!!?
So can anyone here tell me what the deal is here? Thx

Totally fixable, but please tell your friend I said he SUCKS.
