I've been trying to turbo my car, but I heard a better bet is to just use the HKS Turbo kit for the Honda Fit. Should work.

What headers were they? I might just get those too!!!!!!!!!

Anything you do to the car now is going to cost some serious cash. Suicide doors are going to be shaved handles and new paint for all the doors, unless it's a custom paint job then it's repaint entire car. I still don't understrand turboing this engine. It's a 1.88L, It'd not built for extreme temperatures and pressure. You better build the entire engine before turboing it ie. pistons, rods rockers etc... It's clean as is. Drop it if you have room to and if you can remove the decals without stripping the paint go ahead. One of the pics shows blacked out lights and windows, paintshop? Anyways, you got a good deal on the car and it's nice as is, enjoy it. Don't start expensive work unless you have expendable income for it. I riced up my old civic and put on some forced induction and blew the motor. I started gutting it when something came up and I was riding in a half stripped car for about three months (mad embarassing). People spend a lot of time and money getting their cars to look like your does, don't push it.. Sometimes, less is more.

Folks, a 4-cylinder engine requires only one header.

you get what we mean...and i call them headers, not header. imo sounds better. its obvious...wow since when do ppl see me as illiterate in these things. we all hear the same things on this forum. being part of others where ppl who have turbo'ed and more with experience teach much.Like everyone says, do what you will and like on your own car. if you dont like it, don't bag on them.

yeah i agree with ya... i'm kinda leanin towards getting performance parts under the hood and leaving it at that. then i'm gonna work on interior and exterior. maybe bag it and keep the versa for show. i'm really leanin to baggin it... what you guys think?? any advice on what kind of bags or where to go?

we are talking about a Versa, not some GTO. My vote is to do nothing at all, but get a real car to mod if you want to spend that much money.

I'm not really a fan of adding 200 pounds of air tanks and compressor to my grocery getter. Seems pretty pointless to me.

Also I don't get where your going. You wan't to mod the hell out of your tine 1.8l engine but overload the trunk with 200+ pounds of suspension stuff.

Built engine + air ride = stock performance.

OK. 1ST A 4BANGER 1.8 IS A GREAT START FOR TURBO(i had a integra and honda civic) 220 to the wheels on 9psi.-fun car no problems with motor.2ndTHE CLUTCH WAS THE FIRST THING TO GO (they do not make a after market clutch for our cars that i know of)3rdFIND OUT WHAT YOU WANT TO DO WITH THE CAR(it is almost impossible to have a show car that is fast)example: show cars require bling or extra weight(sterio systems, lights bigger and heavier chrome wheels)track cars are faster without AC,extra weight and smaller tires.HOPE THAT HELPS

ok... the point of this car is to be a show car. i'm about to get a 240sx and take it to the track level. thats where i'm gonna build an engine. but this car is strictly gonna be for show. so i've got xtremes on both end. but i'm trying to custom build a show versa. no one else has a versa thats a show car. at least i havent seen one. but thats the bottom line for the versa, hence the name XTREMEVERSA...

I hope you dont lay hands on a 240SX. As a 1990 240 coupe owner I have a vote in this. As far as doing more for a ricey versa? Go to the Russianbull School for Ricing.

BTW, Premium in a Versa doesnt do crap.

wait... why not get a 240? you really dont think i know what im doin?? come on... ive been customizing cars since i was 13 years old. ive got a little bit of experience in customization... seriously, im going to have the only body kit of its kind, and the only versa of its kind... trust me... i know what im doing. then when i get a 240, its going to be quicker than almost any car... or at least thats the goal for now... either drift or drag!

240sx is my dream car. I was at a stop light and one was infront of my and we were taking a left hand turn and he drifted all the way around it. Ever since then I have wanted one so bad.

In all honesty, if you're dead set on a 240, build one that doesnt just drift. Yes, S13's are easy to get sideways, a lil easier than an S14, but they can be great grip/track cars.

I own a 240SX AND a Versa. He mentioned wanting 240SX so we were commenting on that fact. I also own a Versa so that has even more relevance to me commenting also.
