For some reason i kinda personify my cars. Sometimes it feels like they're giving me attitude, good and bad. Whether it's something to fix, or having that moment of haul-a** making you feel connected to the 'soul' of the car, if you will. The well learned dynamic of it's handling prowess or nailing the shift point. It becomes more than a machine, but an extension of one's self.

My 240's always been Rojo, a Datsun 620KC (i have yet to fix) and already named, yet with the Q i always sorta struggled to identify it's character. It's comfy, quiet, powerful, and HUGE... a semi-modern land yacht, a JapoStarDestroyer, in comparison to most cars i park beside daily. So in a similar manner of naming a Sea vessel or Starship, i came up with "Imperial Rice". It's totally silly(for lack of a better word) but it fits and gives me a nostalgic chuckle.

i was gonna load up this pic just as it was... but like the car, i had to modify it. lol

LOL - I like it. and better than mine - my garage is half empty... probably early July before I drive home a Q.

So would a storm trooper drive a Q or is it a vehicle that Han Solo would car jack? maybe Lando Calrissian would drive a Q :chuckle:

Thanks man. :)

I've actually been wanting to get a Stormtrooper outfit for the longest time, and ride around places in it, lol. Get out and look for droids randomly. haha.. I think Han Solo being the rogue, would definitely commandeer this ride. Especially since it also made the Kessel run in 12 parsecs. :gapteeth: I have the feeling if Lando got a hold of it, he would wear my clothes, jack the thing up to Skycity and put some big chrome rims on it :squint: You know how those damn Calrissians make it do what it do.

haha...not photoshop at all. Funny enough, i just used microsoft Paint. Cropped then resized the photo by pixel height x width, and i had a slew of fonts i downloaded back when i was making some laser-cut signs. So choosing the right lettering was the key point and the most time consuming, as always. I'm sure some time spent in PS could've yielded a better result, but for what it is, i'm satisfied.

i'm a huge Star Wars fan since childhood. In fact, my 240 is going to pay homage to the movie as well. I already have a SARD R2D2 bov and plans for other parts to play in too. I'm not gonna try to be over the top with it, like that Del Sol 'star fighter', but just have some fun with it.

What Q are you going to look at? That low-mileage white one in Ohio is freakin immaculate... i'd flip mine to get it, but i don't think that'll happen. Good luck on your hunt!
