aloha, my name is jeremy, i'm from kaneohe, on the island of oahu, state of hawaii. i have owned/driven nissan for about 12 years, and like them very much. i currently own an 04 sentra 1.8s. i am in the process of purchasing an 08 versa, had inked a deal with my sales rep and am waiting for my specific versa to arrive. at which time papers will be signed and whatnot.

i have been a fan of the versa since first seeing it and would have purchased one if there had been such a thing when i bought my sentra.

i have some DIY experience with stereo installs, aftermarket leather install, automotive carpet cut and sew, basic engine maintenance, some wiring, little bit of bondo and paint prep, and DIY painted pieces. i hope i can be of value to fellow members and am willing to share.

Congrats on the new purchase! I actually set out to buy a Blue Onyx Versa until I saw the Magnetic Gray in person! The CVT is also a great choice. Welcome to the forum!

Welcome! I think you'll love the new V. My daughter has a Magnetic Grey CVT and thinks it looks so much nicer than my white one! I still like mine, though, too!

Aloha! I just visted Oahu and Maui this past summer and loved it.

If you ever want to come to CHicago for a month I'd be happy to exchange living spaces with you man I wish I was back in Hawaii, LOL!

My nephew (and wife) always vacationed in Maui. They finally decided - hey, lets move their! They both got jobs, found a house - and moved! My sister is their babysitting while they do all the paperwork required in such a move. My sister loves the weather, beach - EVERYTHING!

I imagine the challenges of living on an island in the middle of the ocean VERY FAR away from the country you are a part of can be difficult. It's literally a differentr world in Hawaii (on each island nonetheless!) So I see your point...

When we drove from Honolulu to Haleiwa it took like an hour or so....to the other side of the island!!!! That kinda blew my mind because I live in Chicago if I want to drive to either coast we're talking at least an 18 hour trip!!!
