Wonder why members think others cannot search eBay, Cars.com, autotrader, etc?

Maybe we need to repost the eBay names sticky?

Perhaps no one trolls eBay daily?

I don't know about you, but I get excited seeing another Q. Sort of like meeting a fraternity brother from another chapter.

I like it when craigslist and eBay Q ads are posted here. We look at it, give our take on the modifications done (if any), and speculate on the maintenance habits of the PO. Sometimes we play a variation of " The Price Is Right" and guess how much the car will go for. There's not much else to do on the board. What are we going to do? Sit and chop onions?

Thank you for finding it funny Captain. I honestly don't know. It's something I've picked up and find to be quite humorous. Possibly because of it's absurdity and the way it seems to fit situations as well as it does this one.

It really makes you chuckle when you imagine a bunch of Q owners chopping onions to pass the time.

Nice............if I was in the market for another Q, I would be all over this, even if it is a 96. I'm kinda partial to the 94-95 years due to the VCT.

[QUOTE=maxnix]Wonder why members think others cannot search eBay, Cars.com, autotrader, etc?

Wonder why you cannot resist the urge to reply to 80-90 percent of the posts on this site without being a condescending smart a$$ and/or saying something....anything....negative. Maybe there's a guy searching this site who wants a Q and has yet to find one?

When I joined this forum I don't remember reading a comprehensive list of dos' and donts.....particularly with regard to offending you. I do recall being told to read read read and then read some more. I did and learned a great deal about the car and about the guys who routinely post on this forum. Your demeanor has been well documented.

If my posts offend you, then I apologize. I suggest that you go to the user control panel and check the box which says "ignore all posts by oldmako".Or simply skip the threads in which the title bores you. If I am abusing bandwidth then perhaps the moderator can let me know and I'll curtail my "Q on ebay" posts.....that was the second one in what....4 months??

I'll go back to "studying the FSM", and asking only complex questions to which there are no answers in the archives. Maybe.

TOLD YA IT WOULD NOT LAST! I wonder if there has ever been a documented case of TRI-Polarism?

GEEZ! This is the same guy who suggested i CHILL. We may not have invented CHILL, but here in the Keys we turn CHILL into an art form.

I guess we could all take our own advise and ignore Brians posts. Much the same as you would ignore an annoying child.

Lithium, a cruel mistress.
