Notes on 93 240 SX SE with 157k miles!

I just completed a road trip to Michigan and was pleased with how reliable my new to me, 93 240 SX SE is with 157k miles!I got 23 MPG in city driving last week with a fresh oil change & coolant change...

But with the cruz set at 81 MPH on the highway I was pleased to see I got 30 MPG!

These cars are just so reliable! No smoke, just fire right up, drives smooth and still so solid!

Just a testimate to these very underrated sporty cars!

Who has the most miles on orig. engine?

I have 166,000 miles on the original KA.

It still runs good. I beat on it every day, redlining every gear.No leaks, no smoke, idles even better after AIV removed.

159k, about to rebuild it for a turbo project but it's always started up right away, burns no oil, and idles steady at 600rpm. That probably says more about the way the previous owner treated the car, but I love my stock KA very much..... I'll just love the turbo'ed KA that much more
