Video game forums, especially MMORPG ones are incredibly different than car forums. The only other board I was a part of was one a VNBoard for Asheron's Call (best MMORPG, even still) and threads would be on page 2 in under an hour, tops. Even with a smaller poster base, it's a much faster pace, more like chatroom. They're just a different brand of geek.
