I know that http://www.directjdm.com among other online companies sell FO engines for marked up prices. However even though this company is in Toronto, I doubt that they stock engines, just take orders and have FO send the engine.

Rtsol, i think its time to really look into doing a chargeback, and or other legal action to get that money back or that motor into your hands in the next month!!!! youve been waiting way too long you really could have had that motor already this isnt cool!!

well, the sad thing is, i sent a wire transfer. they told me that if i used paypal or credit card that they wait one month to ship your motor so its harder for someone to do a charge back. you think my bank could do something about getting the transfer back? anyway, ive sent them MANY emails but they never really answer my questions. i HIGHLY recommend people not to get their clip from them.

Rtsol, you wire transferd from the bank to their bank?.. if so goto the bank today ! ! ask the teller about getting a afidavid or somthing and they should be able to help you file away to get that money back, claim fraud cause this is !!! this is a form of fraud! please get what you deserve out of this !! you shouldnt be put off for 2monthes with run around answers ! if it was me id get the money wired back even if the motor was due in within the week, its the princible of it! write them demand the money back and if they say no or give a lame arse excuse give the bank the ok to rape them ! !

Talk to your bank, and the State Department (whatever branch deals with transactions involving foreign countries / companies). There will be a lot of people who might tell you that you're SOL when it comes to getting your cash back. None the less, you should make whatever attempt you can to recover your money. Direct wire transfers are generally not protected by any sort of fraud legislation that I know of... but I don't know much about it so definitely investigate. =)

Yeah, that's it, all Flashoptions clips are being held by customs and quaratined because they pose a threat of bringing SARS into the US. "My swap is SIIICK!"

I work at a bank. Once you do a wire-transfer the money is out of the banks hands. Since it is guaranteed funds you can't get your money back. Sorry to break the bad news but the bank cannot do anything about it. Like someone mentioned, contact the proper authorities and hopefully you kept your documentation from your wire-transfer. Good luck and hopefully you get your engine and don't have to go through more of this BS that FO has already put you through.

I cant believe somebody actually bought from them. I all I have ever seen mentioned about FO is contained in 5 page threads bashing their shady practices. Get an import/export lawyer my friend. And never send money over seas. You may pay more for an engine that is already in the US, but wouldn't you say that it is worth the extra money at this point?
