I got my safc2 in today and everyone says to use the n3-b diagram. well, big problem there i saw was the fact that the plug didn't look ANYTHING like my ecu plug (note: i have a 97).

so, i started looking at the ecu pinout from my 97 FSM. comparing that to the diagrams in the SAFC book. Found 4 diagrams that match our PLUG perfectly. N5-A, N6-A, N6-B, and N6-C.

So, I started comparing pin locations in my FSM to the diagrams. Low and behold, N5-A matches EXACTLY except for the RPM signal. Thats at pin 3 instead of Pin 5.

But there is a question involved here...am I right? Heres a visual.

What yall think? If its right, you could add this thread to the "Good Info Here" thread.

That's for pre OBD-II 240sx's. Anyway... as long as your going with the FSM you should be alright. I always double check wiring diagrams from aftermarket stuff with the FSM of the car before connecting anything.
