so i searched and found out that you can use a ka24de clutch disc with a ca18det flywheel and pressure plate. COOL! bc this shop TCS tampa clutch supply down the street makes the most bad *** 4 pucl unsprung clutches for like 60 BUX. im gettin one this week.

NEXT tho, i was thinking about a lightweight flywheel. im guessing a ka flywheel wont work tho. right? im thinking about ordering one on nico for 200 shipped, not a bad deal.

LAST ?:i was pretty sure that injectors for a sidefeed ka would work for a ca18det? is this true and/or what other options/other motor can we use injectors from??

THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS. i will continue to search these subjetcs, until someone enlightens me : )

ka/sr are all sidefeed.

u need skyline or dsm injectors or rx-7 for factory type upgrade.

yes one alignment pin has to be removed or u have to drill the pressure plate to accomidate the pin.

Seriously man just get 444cc's out of a GTR a set of 6 go for 80 used.

Regardless of what injectors you end up with make sure you get them cleaned and flow tested.

No, CA uses Low Impedence injectors......KA and SR are High Impedence. Unless you go stand alone you cannot use them.

The "conversion kits" you see sold normally use a domestic 72lb or whatever MSD injector. It's still top feed. It's not really a ka or sr injector, it's a domestic top feed with a modified fuel rail to make it work. You can buy new top feeds or do used.

the MS setup still has dropping resistor or something wired in to lower the impedance on the injector...... not sure why you are so hell bent on running SR/KA junk anyway?

you can borrow parts from skylines, RX7s, DSMs, 80s hondas, and much more.......

running 555s or atleast 450DSMs (which sell on Tampa racing and orlando forums for 60 bucks ALL DAY LONG) is where it is at.
