well im not to happy with my 240sx, i guess its cuz i really dont know what i want in life, im thinking once i pay this off, i want to sell it for a good 10,000 or 9 being the lowest, and enter the driver looking for a new car stage.

i guess im just not happy with the power my AUTO 240sx has, i mean its nice and all, but waay to under powered for its own good, and u guys might say, thats why u should mod it..., well honestly i dont want to spend to much time modding each thing 1 by 1 and by the end of the day have a fast car, when i can buy an already fast BRAND NEW car. the power this has is just like an m3, only ones that are REALLY modded can go fast. im not really sure tho, after a civic revving at me and i got my *** spanked , still was a good sport smiling and giving the thumb up (not thumbs).i know i need to mod this car, but its not really worth it to me, i dont wana ruin it by swapping a manual, i dont want to do anything that will require messing with the stock parts, cuz i want to keep everything stock, but i also want it to be fast, damn i just cant decide, either i mod this car and be as fast or a little faster than the car im interested in now...or i just keep it stock and sell it once its paid off& once i get this paid off, im thinking of putting a down on a '03-'04 cobra...

i got my *** handed to me when a bone stock civic dx 1989 beat me in my 1999 accord ex with i/e. Difference in the 2 car? I had an auto and he had a manual.

the later years of s14 is an awesome looking car and it's rare. I wish I can afford it but I Can't.

If I have your car I would swap a s14 sr20det, why? because it's a stock engine and you probab;y dont have to worry too much.

clk, m3s are nice but that's all that they are. Would you want to drive crazy in a 50k car? How would you like to know that rest of the m3 drivers are just as fast as you?

omg. You're afraid of messing it up? Then since your in Cali, go to Signal Auto, or a known place that does swaps and such. You'll have no regrets with them. Your point about having a new car with that hp already? Where's the fun in that? Sure you can still mod your "new car", but think, with all that money you're gonna put into your new car, you can be doing TONS more by modding it yourself. IMO, so what if you have to mod it one mod at a time. At the end, you'll be gleaming with pride from the effort you put into your car.

Yes, I beleive you're having no fun with your auto. When I put in a K&N intake filter, a fuel filter (mine was clogged), my makeshift cold air induction, and my exhaust tip (the A'pexi canister actually improves my flow a LOT more, since exhaust is already 2"), I felt a noticeable (**** i'm tired, can't spell right) pull that the car had not had when stock. For my next mod, I just purchased an ASP underdrive pulley for 107 bucks shipped (RPMoutlet.com). My friend who has a bone stock s13 fastback with that pulley swears it gives it a big, noticable pull. I drove it and it was nice.

All in all with my blabbling, our cars are the most fun cars I've had to tinker around with. In the long run, guarenteed you'll be glad you kept it!

I don't consider a 350Z fast, to be fast it's gotta hit low 13's factory or do over 160.

modding the car and getting pissed at it is half the fun anyway!

i hear you man. I feel you too. Guys a manual isn't going to feed his fix for a faster car. Stock vs stock a cobra is faster hands down.

Just like me. I wanted RWD and i got a 240sx and is good enough for me. He wants a new car and fast. I use to own a 03' corolla and hated it becuse it was slow and yes i had manual.

The corolla was nice though. Was new and shiny. it had 130hp/125tq. Kept up with Si's

A cobra is also 4 times more expensive...hands down.

And it will fall apart 4 times as fast since its american. Talk about cheap interiors...my friend has a 2000 GT and its interior rattles around significantly more than my S13 which is 12years old.

If you want cheap, new and fast, get an SRT-4.

cuz cobras are faster than all of those, handling wise im not sure, but its close to a cobra R which is pretty good for the heavy *** '03-'04 cobra, seriously with just about $2000+ in mods u have a brand new car pushing over 400hp.im also a member at the svtperformance.com forums, i just love the look of the cobra its bad ***, and the v8 rumble +supercharge whine is ****en sick.

and dont say i dont know anything about cars, i know what potential a 240 has, but like all 4 bangers u need a lot of **** done to make it fast, mostly swaps is what people with 4 bangers do, but i dont wana spend on something that isnt legal, (even if u do know some people that can pass it...)

and i know i only had the car for a month and already im not satisfied, but when a wax this baby with Mothers Clay California Wax, and Armor All... its one nice RIDE just no POWER.i still dont know what i want
