Alright. So I obviously had a bad heater core. The car was overheating, coolant dripping into the floor, etc. I replaced the heater core. I blew air through it to make sure it traveled through and it wasnt blocked up. I now have heat, no leaking in the floor, but still overheating and I dont know why! Someone please help.

HINTS:1. Only one of the heater core hoses is hot. One is slightly warm and the other one is hot.2. I've recently replaced radiator, water pump, thermostat, radiator cap and bled the cooling system.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Head gasket????

Do you have a clutch fan or electric fans?

I would do a pressure test.

How fast is the engine overheating? 5 mins after cold start? 30 mins?

Usually there is air bubbles in the system every time it is drained and refilled, so the temp gauge will shoot up within 5 minutes of idling then come back down after all the air is out of the system.

You can fix this by removing the radiator cap (don't do it when the engine is HOT!) and idling the car with the heater on full blast until the engine warms up. Air will make it out of the system after the thermostat opens. Top off the radiator as needed.

Is there oil in the coolant or coolant in the oil? If so, its time to change the headgasket.

Sounds like you might still have air in the system. DOHC are hard to bleed compared to their SOHC's counterparts.

try jacking up the front end of the car so the front wheels are about 6 inches off the ground

i did that when bleading my system and that got every bit of air out

Thats what Nissan asks you to do to blead it anyway.
