not the battery and not the alternator so what was it?

last night when i went to the mall and when i got back in the car had a little problem starting it, then i had to get gas the gas station was like half a mile away (the car drove fine) took about 5 mins to pump gas take a piss and the i had the real problem starting, when i cranked the engine all the lights went completely off and just the click, so i turned the stereo, head light and the door light off waited like a minute and barely started the car, and when i started the car this morning it started fine i check the battery its 12.89v off and started 14.6v so i'm guessing the battery and the alternator is fine, and i replaced the starter about a year and half ago. what do you think happen. the car has auto lights so the heads turn off when the car is not on, i didnt stay in the car wiht the stereo on or any thing

I think it may be the starter going bad on you bro.

Does not sound like the battery, the solenoid is part of the starter - if this was aftermarket starter, could be going bad......

thanks but it was the alternator, tonight it just crapped out, not completely dead but crapped out, messd up my night too
