Not taking off on Drive

I have a 94 q45 that does not take off on drive unless the car warms up or I take off with the car on 3 drive for a lil then throw it on drive. Any suggestions?

Gear selector may be out of alignment. If that's not the case, possibly something else going out in the trans. Is there a procedure to pull TCU codes on the Q45 like there is on the Z32?
