Hey all, I noticed today around dusk when my headlights automatically turned on after I started my car that my left headlight was out. I'm not familiar with how xenon HID systems work so I'm not sure if it's as simple as "bulb burned out". I turned my headlights off and back on and noticed the left headlight flickering trying to come on and then turning off. This happens consistently when I turn the headlight switch on/off. The fact that it's flickering indicates to me that it probably isn't burned out; but more or less another issue. Has anyone else had this issue? I really don't want to take it to the dealership and pay $100+ just to have them diagnose it. Any help would be appreciative since I don't want to be driving around at night with a headlight out and risk getting pulled over. FYI, I did a search and this problem has nothing to do with the turn signal stalk as others have had issues with. Thanks!

can you swap the lamps from side to side? that way if you do that and the left one suddenly works and the right one doesnt, then you know if its the lamp or not. not an insanely in depth diagnosis but that would at least eliminate the lamp being bad. and some HID lamps do flicker when they go bad.

my headlight also goes out sometimes. i tap it a couple of times and it comes back on, im assuming a bad connection but the tap is working until i get time to really look at it.
