Hey everyone,

It's been a while since I've been on here, work consumes my life. Anyway, my alarm *installed by the dealer at the time of purchase of my AC* indicator is not doing what it's supposed to do. The main thing that started to happen today is this:

That light doesn't shut off anymore. The only time it does is when the engine is completely turned on. As soon as it's off, the light turns right on and stays on. On top of that, there is no delay in hitting the lock button on the keyfob and the horn honk which lets me know the alarm is set(ting) anymore. It's an immediate honk, which before today, there used to be a slight delay (the hazards and turn signals blinked once before the horn did anything). Anddd, to add to it, there is no noise whatsoever when the car is unlocked. Oh, and both blinkers on the dash flash at the same time when either button is pushed. I have tried to reset the alarm by pushing the lock and unlock buttons on the fob together for a few seconds, but that has done nothing.

....what the hell did the guys at the car parking lot do to my car today? :gotme
If anyone has any insight, please let me know before I head to the dealership on Friday. I think I'd prefer to have a slight idea rather than no idea and have them charge me a small fortune to find out.

I was gonna suggest holding lock and unlock together on the key fob but I guess you already tried!

Have you tried disconnecting the battery?

I have not tried to disconnect the battery yet, no. I will be doing that tomorrow morning, hopefully with some good results.
