i have my BOV and my boost gauge T'd into the FPR. my boost gauge reads the right readings (5.5psi) but my blow off valve (HKS SSQV) never EVER opens. i am also getting some really bad compressor surge at the turbo. i've tried tightening and loosening up the bolt on the back and have no luck at all. i've taken it apart to hook up the recirc. fitting and taken the fitting out, while making sure that the blow off valve seals correctly with that rubber seal. i'm really not too sure what's wrong here. i've read that the HKS SSQV is one of the best but right now it's the worst in my opinion.

i've read about people saying to hook it to one of the two vacuum lines above the throttle body...i looked all around there and i didn't see any vacuum lines around the opening. somebody please help me or advise me in what to do. thanks!

oh yea, this thing was BRAND NEW when i bought it

there are vaccum lines under the throttle body u can use, thats what im using. i thought i was getting compressor surge from the sound i was hear sumthin like chh-chh-chh. but i found sound clips of one on a lancer and that is the small valve opening. under hard accerlation and maybe a lil more boost the large valve opens and is jsut one loud CHH then u might hear the small valve a lil after that. the guy also said that the adjustment screw is more for the large valve to open. mine is pretty much all the way lossened,i should tighten it some tho
