not sure about these wheels???

So i have these wheels had them for years given to me by a man who owned an old datsun dealership still new in the packaging just dusty from sitting for years. Anyway i am trying to figure out exactly what they are from. Hoping someone might have some insight. I have been able to locate the silver version for the 300z but not the black. I am wondering if the are from a fairlady Z??

Looks like 87-89 300ZX N/A wheels someone painted black. The dealer may have painted them black and put them on a car on the lot only to find a buyer who didn't like the black wheels, they could have been swapped for a new set of OE's these put in those boxes and tucked away. Or, the dealer painted them black to put on a car on the lot then someone bought the car before they installed them. Or, someone ordered the wheels, had them painted and ever picked them up do to who knows what. If there a reason you don't believe them to have simply been painted black? Cool find unfortunately not many people want 15x6.5 wheels these days.

Thanks for the reply. I did find out very little information from a site in japan they had the same exact wheels for sale in black and they claimed they were from a fairlady z. And also after reviewing the numbers stamped on the wheels i noticed FZ16. But i do not have a set of the silver wheels to confirm the numbers to be the same.
Here is a photo of a model i found of the Nissan 300ZX/Fairlady Z Z31 1987-1989 with the same wheels but there still is like you said the possibility they were painted.

Pretty sure I recall reading FZ16 on my old wheels. It's possible, I'm sure AZ Zbum would know if there was an option on the JDM models.

6-1/2 JJ x15 means NA wheels....

NO Z31 wheels came black. NONE of them. Zip. Zero. Nada.

Someone painted those wheels black. They're 87-89 NA wheels.

Nothing special.
