I see that many of you have done the TB bypass but I'm still leary about this mod for some reason. I keep thinking that there's another reason for the coolant running through the TB other than just keeping it warm. Why am I so scared on such a simple mod. Does anyone have any factual numbers or figures about the difference this mod makes? I'm afraid there will be long term effects that somebody's not thinking about. Please change my mind...give me something to think about.

You have no idea how many people done that mod. Not on the G but on all other models. I was reading the M forum the other day and one of the guy did it on his m also. He is happy.

Get a valve if you're concerned.

Check out the motordyne isothermal upgrade to the 5/16" spacerhttp://www.motordyneengineering.com

It includes a valve that you can open and close.

If you call Tony he will sell the valve by itself for like $20 i think.
