So my car fried an ecu trace which lead up to pin #36 it wouldnt engage the fuel pump and did not have spark, i put my friends ecu in i heard the fuel pump and it had spark however would not start, today i took the fuel line off and it seems to be getting into the fuel rail at least.. i tried to crank it for awhile, pulled a spark plug and there is no fuel soaking it like their should probably be, also tried to start it at WOT and nothing. Im wondering now what could be the problem? is fuel not getting past the injectors and what would be the cause of this? I need to get this car on the road asap, none of the wiring has been messed with at all really ever. What could be the cause? any sensor or anything like that? I know the obvious check fuses but i did that.

unless could all 4 injectors be bad? but why was the ecu messed up? and it messed up my friends ecu as well, i put his in and my car wouldnt start, i pulled it out of my car put it in his and his started but when he went to turn his car off and it stayed running. so my car is messing up ECUs and i have a JWT ready to go in but this problem needs to be solved first. Im sure someone else has had the same problem btw its a 93' hatch base model with the KADE in it just for reference all help is appreciated! im considering paying an auto electric specialist to do it $200-$500 if i cant get it figured out. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure that there is a diode on that trace as well that you probably cooked. I'm also guessing that your car is lowered a good amount and that your tire rubbed through the harness and shorted some wires in the fender. Even more likely if it was a little wet when you started having this problem. Check that harness and report back.
