Make sure the MAF is functioning properly. That kicks motors over to limp mode most often.

yes this is what i think the problem is as the CAS is
very tricky to get right iv found with my motor ,
and scince playing with the CAS its not even
starting now

the block was decked and head plained from
blowing the head gaskit could this be
contributin to the problem ? a four layer steel
gasket was used , bearings ,rings etc . .etc . .
refreshed

thanks guys let me know what you think

If your timing is off, it'll just misfire and have low power production. If you're having issues getting the CAS lined up properly, make sure the motor isn't 180 degrees off. I've had that happen in the past, and it takes some massive amounts of fiddling with the CAS gear to get it lined up in a way to get the thing into it's adjustment range on the crank pulley.

Have you checked your car for any diagnostic codes?

Yeah, i checked the ecu and got a code 12 for the maf. I switched it out for another one again but it didn't fix the problem. I checked all of the wiring before but I am going to go over it again this weekend to see if I missed anything. Hope I can fix it before it get's cold out.

Remember TDC is the second tick, not the first tick on the crank pulley.
