Did you say gasket on the oil pan? Was it the cork one that comes with the felpro kit? If so, take it back off and ditch it. It'll leak. Use the end seals and a bead of RTV. Just about everything else leaks.

Ok, cool. I was just checking. I made the mistake of using the cork gasket that came with the felpro kit and it seeped oil. LOL, no prob.

I was thinking about getting the i-sis ones cuz they are black but is it really that helpful?

I cant really justify spending the money because i still need to get a clutch, starter, batter, intercooler piping and brake rotors to get my car on the road .

It's not impossible with the stock lines, it's just WAY easier with the flex lines.

float and T-M are giving you some good advice about the lines; with the motor out it is not to bad with the stock lines, but when you need to work on the turbo later. you will hate yourself for not getting the lines. trust me 30mins vs 2.5hrs

Rising rate fpr are usually used on n/a cars that have switched over to forced induction. For our cars you should be using a 1 to 1 fpr due to the fact the stock ecu has all the info it requires for the a/f ratio.

Looks good! Bright Aqua Metallic does just sound like a foofy name for "blue" though.

i havent posted in a lil bit but im pretty much done with the engine itself just need to get new spark plugs, oil/filter. Today i went to do my brakes coilovers and sub frame spacers and ran into a lil trouble on the front. First one of the ciolovers wouldnt fit the brake was about 1/4 of an inch to narrow so i have to wait till monday to talk to enjuku about it then the hawk pads i ordered for my q45 brakes arent the right size luckily i have the stock pads.
