Hey everybody, back with a new name. Used to be Wyldemannn, but figured this was a little more appropriate almost a decade later. :bigthumb:
So, rejoined the 240 crowd tonight. Bought an S13 that's been modded AND beat to death simultaneously. Will be in the process of breathing life back into dead metal.
Now, the million dollar question; in a decade, what did I miss?

Welcome back! I think you will go far with your new project. The only thing that would make it better would be an s14 friend...

Welcome back! Haven't missed much. Ricers are still ricers, fanboi's want SR's/RB's and slammed suspension. There is finally starting to be some real aftermarket suspension support so these cars can actually be raced instead of drifted, but that's about it.

Oh, and they're starting to get old and rusty now, but Danm are they still fun cars!!!

Havent figured out what I want to power it with, KA-T/RB25/CA leading the possibles. The Tein basics are fairly nice, and the rotas I like. The Ebay tails are going away, and i'll most likely look for brake/suspension upgrades after adding some power. Selling my Triumph and my 2.3T SVO clone to do this.

I vote CA, but I'm bias, LOL. If you do go CA, plan on a basic rebuild unless you KNOW you're getting a good condition motor. They're old enough now most of them have been sitting in a junkyard for a decade.

I'm a HUGE fan of the NISMO S-tunes. Not much of a drop, but the handling is good and the ride is still good.
