Not necessarily selling, but what is this '85 Turbo Z worth?

I've held onto it for a long time, but I'm considering selling it. I'd be happy to list all the details, but I figure I should probably wait until I have a price in mind. Suffice it to say everything works - it runs great, turbo still boosting, 5-speed. Only negative, it drips power steering fluid. Original stereo is available. What range should I be looking for?

In Central Texas. 160,000 miles.

Thanks in advance!

I'd say about $2k, maybe 3k to the right buyer. Low mile cherry AE's and SS's seem to top out around $10k.

Your power steering might stop leaking if you quit putting power steering fluid in it *rimshot*. Seriously these cars use dexron type ATF for power steering which si much thicker, you might want to purge the system, add a bit of ATF stop leak and fill with ATF, might solve your leak.

Thanks for the tip. Definitely worth a try. Any suggestion for purging the system?

Disconnect the line running from the reservoir to the pump, remove both lines from the rack, turn the wheel lock to lock a couple of times. It might not empty the complete system but it'll get most of it out.Reconnect everything. Refill the reservoir with ATF and stop leak and turn the car lock to lock a few times. then start the car and rotate lock to lock a few more times, keeping the reservoir full.
