I agree. If you go to this place in Gardena called RRR they have two sets of OEM R32 GT-R struts/springs and two sets of aftermarket (NISMO and JIC).QE86 wrote:I would love to know if a R32 suspension will work in a Q too....I have heard someone in LA used a R32 coilovers on a G50 Q45 but I dont know how hard it was to fit it in.
It is much easier to source R32 suspension than Q45s
Me too! Better keep it secretQE86 wrote:Haha Robert I know in the first post which suspension(s) u are talking about. I got my rims over there and I go there almost every week or at least every other week.
If the R32 suspension swap are possible I will def get a set of decent coilovers from them.
Well I would love to try them out but the problem is the lack of tools + most importantly, the skills/experience to make me want to mess with that.....s13sr20chris wrote:i have messed with r32 front suspension before and i have to say that at that price i would snap them up and try it out.
Thanks for the info. The Q uses the round mounts so the R32 stuff might just bolt in. I assume you're talking about the fronts, right?Nismo_Freak wrote:R32 suspension fits Z32's.
The difference is the upper mount needs to be modified to fit the Z32. The GTR's have round mounts and the Z32 is more ovaloid.
Thats what I was thinking too.... He's talking about the R32s...RobertsnewQ wrote:Thanks for the info. The Q uses the round mounts so the R32 stuff might just bolt in. I assume you're talking about the fronts, right?
Usually +/- 2 inches at the springs, so around 4-5 inches at the wheel, but it depends on a lot of variables including spring rate, preload and the car's corner weight.elwesso wrote:Id like to find some coilovers... Find something that will adjust say +2in and -4in above/below stock ride height
I dont know how adjustabel they normally are.....?
