Not a KA-T topic, but it's on my KA-T car, so I wanted to share.

Finally picked up some appropriate wheels for this thing. The 18's in my sig SUCKED for ride quality and performance wasn't so hot, since cornering would yeild wheel hop as a result of no sidewall flex.

These are 16x8 with a staggered offset (front to rear) and they fill out the fenders quite well. The rears are pulled and rolled.

These are pretty straight up rice-boy wheels, but they were $500 for the set with brand new tires. YAY for saving $$$$ !!!!!

(Hush it up about the giant fender gap! Springs are coming this spring...errr, around March)

rice boy wheels? they are reducing rotational intertia due to their smaller size, and as such, smaller weight. plus they are black with a polished lip, and thats awesome

Hehe, thanks all for the compliments. I called them rice-boy wheels just because that's the typical "Doriftorito 240sx SR20DETzzors swap, yeah dude!" wheel of choice.

Yes, they are totally a good upgrade and reduction in rotational mass. They weigh 10lbs less w/ tires than the 18's w/ tires (according to my Rapala electronic fish scale) and the ride is fantastic.

Plus, they are sexy black meshies with a polished lip!

Edub1, I'm not sure as to the offset. I'll try to measure it over the weekend and get back to you about it. I can't measure it now, because I'm going outside in a few minutes to...PULL MY MOTOR!!! wooohoo!
