This is not good. I was recently looking into a supercharger for my 99 QX4. At cardomain there was a car with the description:"Supercharged QX4" so i decided to check it out. Obviously the car was supercharged, and the guy gave the name of the supercharger under the modifications he did to his car. So i looked up this company, found the website and found absolutely nothing. Then I e-mailed the contact person on the website and yesterday I got an answer saying that they discontinued the product! What the heck am I supposed to do now? To my knowledge that was the only company to make a supercharger for the QX4. I love my car, but it is slow and needs all the help it can get! Somebody please help me.:( :help

Upgrade to the 2000+ with the bigger engine? Lots less expensive initially and maintenance wise.

By the way, with a separate ladder frame, to which the body is mounted and a solid rear axle, I think the QX is definitely a truck.

Are you refering to my calling it a car? Well i can't help it, being female, i have a tendency to call it a car. I don't feel that i drive around in a huge Mac truck, because that's what it sounds like to me. And about upgrading to a higher year, i go to school, except during the summer, and did not but this QX4 on my own, so i don't exactly have the money to buy another one.

Modifications = Money which you don't have, right?

Read my original post for best use of cash for upgrading your QX4.

Then there is this concept called savings.

Well there is a misperception that throwing a few bucks at a bolt-on can somehow convert a Hyundai into M3 terrorizer. It's just not true, beyond tires (sometimes wheels) and shocks, little performance is gained for cash. It's very difficult to significantly improve engine performance of a newer vehicle without laying out more cash than it costs new and seriously compromising engine longevity and performance.

Now if all you want to add is bling or cosmetics.....

But the original thread topic was about engine performance.

Sorry, Virgina, there is no magic pill.__________________Brian1995 Q45 & Q45t
