i searched but can't seem to find the answer...i just did a timing guide removal-just the top. now when i have everything put back on and go to crank it; it starts, but running really rough. i narrowed it down to cylinder #1 because when i have it running and pull one plug at the time it stays the same when i pull#1. 2-4 causes it to sputter. any ideas of what to do??? i checked for spark and i have it in cylinder #1, but im assuming its not firing. what could be wrong? help please!

if it's #1 and you've got spark, it's gotta be fuel. Give the injector plug a wiggle and see if that helps it out a bit. Since you've an s13, I'm going to assume yours are pretty corroded by now. Either that or you've got a stuck injector if there's no fuel getting dumped after you've cleaned and tightened the injector plugs.

thanks ill check it out later tonight when i get home. if it is stuck im assuming i should replace the FI, but should i just replace the one or all four? i also called the local junk yard and they have a rail w/all 4 injectors for 70$ versus $91.34 for 1 new one.

thanks 180fan! turns out that the wires in the clip/harness that plugs into the FI broke off and kept the FI from working properly. 5$ later from a junkyard and shes running again! thanks for helping a noob like me out.
