i got a 95 240sx (kouki converted). a few nights ago, i was hearing lots of distortion from my subs. now, when i put the volume up the subs just cut out. i only have 2 10" fosgates, and and alpine V-12 amp which is more than enough power to pump the subs. i checked the power led on the amp and its not stable at all... im assuming that the amp isnt getting enough power. but it was fine before... is there a way to fix this? possibly a capacitor?any advice would be appreciated.thanks

When your car is running do your subs cut out? If I leave my car on for 20minutes with it turned up my battery will be dead. I have an old school amp that drains power like a champ. If i put some good bass songs in my engine rpm's drop. Usually 200rpms had it drop down to 100rpms once but hit the gas and saved it. This was also when I got bad gas though so it was a double factor. I got 2 amps and it drains so much power my car sometimes tries to stall when i let off the clutch if the subs hit. What kind of battery do you have? You have a good connection?(mine was corroding away)
