if you have had alternator checked and it is putting out a good charge, then the problem is the wiring. If alternator is good you are losing the connection from alt. to the battery, that is all it can be. Now you must track the charging signal from the back of alt to the battery and see where you are losing the voltage. That electrically is all it can be again if you are 100% sure alt. is good.

Check the wiring schematic if you repull wiring to make sure you rehook all connections.

did you just try one altnerator, and have you actually had it tested? Where did you get it? Autozone / Checker, etc. are notorious for selling bad reman'd alternators.

Most parts stores can test them either in the truck or on the bench. Before you keep sinking money in new batteries, pull the alternator and have it tested.

i got the problem fixed now and didnt need a new battery or alternator, for some reason my b+ wire that went from the alte. to the battery was no where to be found. it most likely got burned out or something i would assume. all i had to do was run a new b+ wire from the alte. to the batt. then bam problem solved
