i was taking my car for a short drive and i noticed the car wouldnt boost. im running an s14 sr with an s15 turbo tuned by a power fc. im supposed to be boosting 5lbs. it sounds like the wastegate is dumping everything and i can hear the turbo working. anyone got an idea what the issue might be?

You have a boost leak some where. Tighten all your IC pipes really good. Maybe even make a boost leak tester, try searching it you'll find it.I had the same problem on a different motor and it was my IC pipes that I thaught were tight enough.

Run a test using compressed air. Run a hose from compressor to the w/g nipple and make sure the hose is tightened. Adjust to 7psi (or so) on compressor and check that the w/g opens and closes. G/LEdit: you can also tee a boost gauge to help out and compare pressure readings w/ compressor gauge.

Here's a vid to help ya out.
