Not anther intercooler thread

Ok before someone freaks over another one of these threads just hear me out. I am need to purchase a intercooler this week. I have been doin **** tons of research. Cant make up my mind. My goal is 400-425rwhp. What are some of the intercoolers that will be able to handle this. Most places state outragous claims (600+hp) etc. Hell even those ebay cores are suppose to handle some crazy number. Anyone running a ebay core with 400rwhp. My old 240 I ran a greddy v but I am having a hard time dropping to money agian. Cant help to feel like Im buying a brand name.

You running the mspec? I heard those crapped out around 350hp. Know anything about the ls spec?

I have the Greddy VSPL. The only difference I've been able to see in intercoolers is the flow characteristics. Ebay intercoolers seem to cool just as effectively, just their poor core design means they have to be larger to do so, so you lose a bit of response because the IC will take a bit longer to pressurize. All in all I really don't see much of a major advantage in Ebay vs. name brand, I just happened to get a killer deal on my VSPL so I picked it up.

Man i cant believe I am considering a ebay kit. I have heard from some people they are good and some people say they are ****. I just dont want to buy another kit when I reach some decent power.

i have a ebay fmic and honestly quaility it pretty good. no issues with it. i like it better then my greddy. anyways i should be close to 400whp next within the next 2 weeks. so well see how it goes.
