So im looking at getting some new rims since my eagle talon rims really put a downer on my car. So i found these racing hart evolution rims on kijiji and i have a few questions. Does anyone know the model of these rims? Also, they are 18 inch rims. Is that a little bit excessive for my car? im running on stock suspension but I just purchased a set of tanabe gf210 lowering springs to lower it 1-1.5 inches.(Yes i know coilover coilovers coilovers, but i dont ever track my car so there is no point in buying coils.) Soooo do you think they will fit? I also dont know the offset. Tire size is 215/35zr 18 if that helps at all. ANNND one more thing, if someone could photoshop those wheels on my car, that would be greatly appreciated.

This is the best side shot of my car. I hope lighting wont be too big of an issue. Thanks

If you want to know about wheel / coilver / tire fitment

Zilvia wheel fitment Thread

is a complete education in stance on an s13. No disrespect but this is a very Nubile question its easy to fit 18's. But honestly with the wheels you have now im worried that you might completely blow the true potential of your car. so dont be shy my good man

Go in for the kill.

^^^ That was a very nice way of saying "Don't get that weak, uglya$$ wheel you're looking at buying,"

But since you have no urge to get coilovers, I don't you're going to commit to doing a 5 lug conversion to run anything like those Blitz wheels...

Check out RBwheels.com for decent 4 lug options...

I know it is a newb question. I knew they would fit but i just didnt want my rims to grab the all attention from the car is what im trying to get at. And the wheels i have now came with the car so i couldnt do much about it. I was really considering buying rota p45r`s but these came up locally in my area and $400 for all 4 i think thats a pretty good deal.

Does anyone else suggest a different rim for my car? I cant decide on bronze, black or a silver/chrome for my purple paint. Some opinions would be appreciated. I know its my car you dont really care but please throw me some ideas. thanks

OP... do yourself a favor and get this out of your head. Coilovers aren't just for track cars. There's a huge range of applications available. Thats why companies to go out of their way to engineer coilover that cater more to street/daily driving. Coilovers are also for people who want their cars to look good.

That being said... no wheel that we propose will ever make your car look good as long as you are rocking both 4 lug and 4x4 status. I don't mean to be harsh, it's just truth.

Listen, I know there are street coilovers out there that are not strictly for track use, i know that but im just saying im not gonna spend a minimum of 900 dollars on coilovers when i could put that money to better use. All i want is a little bit of a drop and a tad nicer wheels than the s*** talon rims i have right now. This is just to pretty my car up a bit for the time being as im planning on selling this and buying a gts-t. All i want is a little bit of a buyers incentive to purchase my car. There is no point in spending 900 on coilovers and 1200 on rims When i could spend 300 on springs which will drop my car a tad while not blowing my struts or causing other suspension issues and 400 on rims which will greatly improve the look of my car. I have a job working at a resteraunt for 12 bucks an hour and minimal hours. Im 16 working 20 hours a week, spending money on insurance payments, cell phone payments, random payments to pay for my happy time (hookers, jk, but not really) i dont have the money to spend on outrageous coilovers and brand name wheels.

/rant

Im gonna go ahead and buy those springs w/ 400 dollar RH rims as well as some tint and ill post pictures of my car when its all said and done sound good to you guys?

explain to us how much your wasting on these rims, useless suspension and tint?

probably the same amount you could use to buy a set of used coilovers off of the marketplace.

rather a clean body dumped on stocks then the crappy parts you plan to plaster it with.

you can always go OEM wheels, and drop the car. that will look better compare to the wheels you're wanting to buy.

I sure am. What's your point? The wheels in that thread are wide with good fitment. That one you listed isnt. Anyways, the only Rota's with good 4 lug fitment are P45R's, which I love to death but they are becoming sooo played out because everybody with 4 lug wants them. The bottom line? Even with good fitting P45R's, all that wheel gap is going to detract from your cars aesthetic appeal. Case in point...

Which do you think looks better and would sell faster?

Or

But hey... if you don't want coils, then you don't want coils. No body's trying to force you. Just offering input.

Since you're planning on selling the car anyway, I wouldn't even waste time and money modding it. I'd put stock s13 wheels back on and advertise it as 'Bonestock, unmolested, never been drifted' and drift tax the hell out of whoever buys it...

But hey... whatev.
