Alright, so I was looking under my car today (of which I recently bought), its a 1900 240 se, anyways and I noticed I am missing a fuse in the number 14 spot (this is the cluster by your feet, driver side) and I was wonderin' what the heck is that for, and what type of fuse goes in the thing.

Alright, well let me throw this back at ya friend: are the pop up lights suppose to automatically come up when you turn your lights on? If so, well, mine do not, and if its the case that they are suppose to then I need some help being pointed in the right direction.

Do they come up when you press the retraction switch? If they do, then you likely have a problem with the main headlight switch. otherwise, there are 4 retraction relays to check. also headlight timer and wiring.

They do go up and down with the push of the button, so I resort to popping them up then turning the lights on, or turning the lights on then popping them up.

So the answer is YES there is something broken in my car Looking at your sheet you posted I can see the fuse to check would be # 16, I checked it out, and it all appears fine. I guess this weekend I will move onto the retraction relays and figure out where everything is.

#18 is also relevant. also, there are two 15 amp fuses in the relay box by battery under hood.

try to find a black relay that is not being used for anything and substitute it for each of the 4 retraction relays or shuffle the 4 retraction relays to see if that changes anything.

if you have a multimeter you can test to see if the problem is the main head light switch.
