my goal: build a track car for only driftingreason for posting is because i always look at people's build and like seeing all the new pic's

price of car $100 with some small frame damagethe car came with some extra parts as well so it was a win win!

so this weekend 10/2/09 to 10/4/09 stich weld as much of the car as possible

heres the piccars pretty straight

the bad

so what i did to fix the problem of the chassis and for the welds

Best tool to remove the glue from the panels

the sound thing was almost removed, ran out of ice

theres a small amount of frame damage and then look at the weld on the front control arm it was welded to the frame i tried cutting out first but no way in hell they got it all in there so my easiest solution is to cut it and weld it. this weekend im welding the rest of the frame which is 2 feet im going to do my braket for my intercooler and im going to do tubes from the shock tower to the frame

like this

im doing the rest of the frame this weekend but.... tomorrow im going to go look at a shell that they are giving me for free a coupe... but it has one dent on the quarter panel and in the roof im going to see it its worth it...

for v mount? what kind of radiator do i use? any specific angles? on the tilt on the radiator?

my bro welded the arms i welded the manifold its a custom ebay top mount lol i know why they crack now 16 gauge and no penetration on the welds i picked it up for cheap so no big deal... flow would be better than a log manifold, now i warped the flange anyone got a suggestion to remove the warpness? and not taking it to a machine shop?

fast foward another week, i pick up a free rolling 240sx shell! from member carlosncdi from zilvia Thanks i was picking up some autometer gauges and he ended up telling me hes getting out of the scene and he is junking the car... this was all over the phone, hes like the car has a big quarted dent and the roof is caved in... im like dam. can i go check it out? hes like sure ? It was missing doors and motor and wheels roof looked bad how it was caved in but we poped most it out.. so i eneded up towing the car the next day.. but lucky me i had the other 240sx switch the doors and bam old car sent to junk yard got $60 bucks for scrap metal...

it came with nice dash and free fender braces.... he did have some parts he was going to sell, so i bought them all, kazama lower control arms, tein inner and outer tie rods welded diff and rear camber arm

so i started to stiched welded the car the whole car! again.. i removed all the interior car should be ready in about 3 weeks for paint here some pic of the damage and the welds

so i did the tubes, a totally different than what everyone is accustome to ...than the normal, all i need is to swap in the motor make the holes for the intercooler piping.. goog thing is that everything will look hidden so will see how it comes out , as far as the radiator support im going to put a new one in but im going to do it so i can bolt it on so it can be easy to remove and install engine if needed
