Not A Good Day

Title says it all. I've trying to get my car to pass emissions and finally thought that I was good to go, so I took it in this morning. Pass HC with flying colors, but was .1% over on CO. .1!!! So that sucks. Then I'm driving home and I look in the mirror and see this cop flying to catch up to me though I'm doing nothing wrong. ****!!! He says no front plate, loud exhaust, and suspended license for not complying to emissions. Gives me a ticket for the exhaust and suspended license even though I was half a mile from my house and I showed him the emissions paperwork and explained I was only going to emissions and straight back home. He didn't care. Suburban cops can be d!ck. Just thought I would vent a little cause I'm pissed. Thanks for listening.

P.S. Less than a week ago a meter maid gave me a ticket for no front plate. The picture will show the irony of the situation. So I guess in a sense I got a ticket for all three.

I got tons of tickets for not having my front plate and learned my lesson... you should put it there or you are just going to get tickets non stop

Here in TX, you get 2 week exemption on emissions if you fail the first time around. During those two weeks, you have to fix whatever's wrong with the car and then retake the test(for free).

maybe you can fight it, i mean since u just passed emissions on the same day before you got the ticket...

pretty gay though huh, cops will never give tickets to benzos, corvettes, and other cars without plates in the front but theyll pick on cars like ours for the littlest things we do to it.

a lot of cars come factory lowered but if we lower our car an inch or 2 we get butt rammed =/

yeah i don't like the front plate look so i refuse to put one on my car. drove my sis's car without a front play for a year and a half and nothing, and so far nothing on ym 240, so i hope it stays that way.
