Everybody's entitled to their opinion. Me personally, I can't stand any gold plating at all on street cars. But to me, this is not like just plating your emblems ... it reminds me of cars like the '76 Trans Am (Smokey and the Bandit edition) in the fact that it's not a Mickey Mouse color scheme; just black and gold ... "black gold" aka: oil. It's pulled off extremely well and is great for promotion. It will gather a lot of attention! :dblthumb:

Seriously Im sick and tired of ppl on every forum bringing up the mclaren f1 when taking about this bimmer. You think they are using gold for its good insulation on the ****ing valve stems

well everyone over Tennspeed is talking about this purpose built "drag car" Im sick of seeing this thing, its everywhere. The only thing I like on it is the painted grill and headlights. Oh and screw the 4-rotor motor, Im sure it will blow up

that's money well wasted on a drag car as it's got plenty of time to cool down between runs...
