So, my good friend HIsashi Masui, a photographer and contributing writer for the Japanese publication "Nostalgic Hero", asked me a few months ago to help come up with a feature title for the next issue... something that would translate well into English, but that would appeal to their Japanese readership.
He gave me the gist of the feature article, and the "feeling" they were trying to convey... and the Editor liked my idea!
So, here's my contribution (they were gracious enough to send me a copy!):
If you've never browsed through a copy of Nostalgic Hero magazine, it's amazing... A huge, glossy, well-produced magazine that's more like a coffee table book... the photography of old Japanese cars is impressive, and there's usually a couple gorgeous 4-page full-color fold-out posters inside.
