Has anyone installed a nose mask onto a V WITH the sport package? I've been searching online for a mask like from LeBra and even Nissan directly but they all say for the V's WITHOUT the sport package. I have the sport package but don't really know how much the fascia differs.

I really would like to get one because my front bumper and hood are getting a ton of paint chips on them (I drive on the highway every day that always seems to be underconstruction).

Any help would be well...helpful.

Have you called up your local dealer and asked about it? The dealers here are pretty clueless about the Versa and its accessories. What about a clear bra? Those work pretty well and you can't see them but they cost a bit more.

Hey, our front (sport package) is a bit dif't than the non sport package Versa's. If you looked at a V with sport and without side by side you would see the difference. Unfortunately I don't know much about the bra's. I've never been a fan of a bra on a car. My dad used to have one a long time ago on a vehicle and when he eventually took it off the car was two dif't colours. I prefer just having a hood deflector. It protects the hood from stone chips and looks decent.

That's cool it looks great, unfortunately it doesn't protect the bumper though. Could you do a hood deflector and have a clear bra simultaneously?

Probably won't be one for the sport package, wouldlook into the clear bra option.

I guess you might be able to do that. Not something I would do, the hood deflector is all I wanted, but I guess if you wanted to protect the bottom of the bumper in the front maybe you could put a clear bra on.

Yea, my actual bumper part looks like a kid with pot marks...it looks horrible. And I have a few chips on the very front of my hood. This is just frustrating.

I've asked the dealer about it but their parts department is clueless. I sent an email to Nissan so we'll see what they say.

I'm not familiar with clear bras. How do they work? Are they the same as a leather/vinyl one but just clear plastic?

They are just a thin layer of clear plastic protectant. Doesn't look like anything is actually on the car. Its like tint for the front of the car, but not tinted. Tint places are usually the ones who have it as well.

They're pretty durable too. You could literally punch the clear film bra and it wouldn't tear or rip through like a plastic bag normally.

Wow, I found one but it was like $130 for the hood and side mirrors and another $200 for the bumper. Way more than I'm willing to spend.

Back on the differences between Sport package and no sport package. I've been comparing photos online and I don't see much difference in the front bumper other than the whole front is painted on the Sport and not on the non-sport. Can anyone else confirm any differences that I'm not seeing?

Try calling your local tint shop or places that do vehicle wraps. They usually do that stuff cheaper than the pre-cut ones you can order online and install yourself.

Best examples I could find. But the bottom lip is added on the Sport Package, sticks out further forward and down it appears. And the sides at the bottom (outside the fog lights) look a little wider. The bra 'might' work.

Non-sport package

Sport Package

Well, I finally got a Nissan parts guy with some knowledge on the phone. Apparently the bras will NOT fit a V with the Sport Package. His daughter has one and he ordered one for her a year or so ago and it wouldn't fit. He hasn't been able to find one either.

Your best bet is to go with the clear bra. What you can do is get price quotes from various shops and compare them all and decide from there.

You sure you don't just want a hood deflector? And then as others mentioned you could just add a clear bra/protector on the bottom?

Ehh, I had one of those for my S-10 and they were more trouble then they were worth. That, and although it looks pretty good on a red V, I don't like the look of it on a silver V.

I had the hood deflector installed on my V when I purchased it. Unfortunately it has not protected my hood worth a damn. I have at least a dozen or so spots on my hood where I have touched up my hood to protect it from rusting thanks to the Deerfoot trail here in Calgary. Just bought the Wife a new Jeep and within two weeks her windshield has been cracked and she has several new chips on her hood and other spots. Don't know what would work here in this city.

Aww, that sucks to hear that. Luckily my hood is still in great shape thanks to the hood deflector. However, where I work it has been under construction for the past year, so every time I go to work stones get stuck in the tires. Once I get onto the highway to go home the stones fly up against the side of the car. The side of my car/doors have so many tiny chips it sucks I might have to see about getting some touch up paint.
