nos question

My friend has a 200sx (ga16de) with a 50shot. He bought it with it installed, but the car didnt run right. He took it to a shop to get it fixed they said something about disconnecting something with the o2 sensor. We hooked up the bottle and solenoids. But everytime we spray it bogs and backfires like its lean. Does the nos have to be connected to the o2 sensor? thanks

Don't waste your time with nos. But if you do, I could see the engine going bonker when it shoots. Then O2 sensor is telling the engine that there is a whole lot of **** coming out of the engine, and the engine is then telling fuel mang to slow down. Sounds like you are having problems with your nos control.

thanks. I looked at the fuel pressure regulator the other day and it's smashed and someone poked a hole in it. he doesnt have the money to replace it yet. i think thats the problem.
