just got the kit today, it has jets for 50, 75 and 100... i'm thinkin the 50 and 75 shot jets will never get used. I'm going get the car dyno'd after everything is installed and running right, so if this forum is still around, i'll post the sheet.

before you go using the 75 or 100 jets save yourself the cost of another motor and upgrade your fuel pump! $89 for a 255lph Walbro isn't much compared to $400+ for a new motor when you burn a hole through a piston running lean, or detonate off a spartk plug electrode and send it through a valve.

Got that covered I have the pump, i just need to find a new fuel sock for it though. I don't think nissan sells them wilthout the stock pump.

as far as spark plugs and timing are concerned, will my current plugs be ok? they are denso iridium's, stock heat range, with the traditional electrode.

for timing, is it correct to retard base timing 2 degrees (on top of a standard 2 degree retard for safety) for every 50hp shot? so I would need to run somewhere around a 6 degree retard for the 100 shot?thanks

the timing retard is correct in theory, howeverr I have found that the KA's like just a bit more timing to keep them pulling through the RPMs. I would run 4 degrees of timing retard for a 100 shot and 6 for a 150 shot.

The irridium plugs will be fine up to a 75 shot. for a 100 shot I would go 1 step colder. Also, make sure they are gapped between 28 and 36

and when you change the plugs out, NEVER run platinum with Nitrous - iridiums work fine, though

I read that on your site actually, which is where I got the plugs from too.

I'm almost done wiring everything up. Provided my wiring is sound, and the solenoids work, I'll get the bottle filled tomorrow and see how it runs.

Is it a wet kit?? With a wet kit I didn't think you needed so much timing retard. A 100 shot is the equivalent to running 10 lbs of boost. I don't even think about timing retard till maybe 8 at the earliest and even then it's only .5 per lb of boost over 8 psi.

If the AFR's are in the 11.5/1 range your motor should be fine. Maybe retard 2 degree's just for safety, but more then that will kill the dailiy driver ability.

yep, its a single nozzle wet kit with jets for 50,75 and 100hp

Provided I get the walbro installed, i'd like to run the 75 or 100 shot, but I hear conflicting information about doing so. I guess i'll worry about that later, first I gotta find out if my TPS kit or solenoids are bad (damn I hate troubleshooting)

I'd pull 2 degree's and add a bigger fuel jet.
