Hey im new to this palce and im not quite sure how this works but im gona give it my best shot. Anway i was wondering if it is possible ans if it is, is it good to put Nos or even Zex on a car with an auto transmission? My car has the old KA24E and ot and i got a reactive air filter and good exshaust, but i was wondering if it is a god idea to put nos and a auto trans? Anyway thanks for your time, take it easy.

Sure, just save money for transmission rebuilds.

50 to 75 shot should be good.

i have a N.O.S kit running a 60ish wet shot on myautomatic 95 240 and so far it has been ok. i wouldn't race any further than an 1/8 of a mile. i think my best time with just that setup and nothing else done to my car i ran a 9.4 in the 1/8

Well, I'm not sure about the KA, but I'm running a 75 shot on my H22a Swapped Accord and its auto transmission seems fine after more than a year. The auto is nice because you don't have to worry about taking your foot off the gas to use the clutch, thus leaving you at WOT all the time, and if your setup is proper, WOT is the only time you should be spraying.

I would also recommend getting an NX kit instead, its a wet kit therefore a bit safer, its an easy install, and I and most people I know have had better luck with it. For example, you can't even install a ZEX kit on some of the Eclipses because it requires them to tap into their fuel pressure regulator and some of them don't have one.

So if i get nos i should only spray at WOT, and i should get wet instead of zex. i hate to ask but what gear should i spray in i know its an auto but is there a good time to spray while im at WOT, anyways Thanks for the info guys. Take it easy.

I think you've got a lot to learn about nitrous.

Generally, you have the nitrous armed by using a switch(Thats the switch you see the racers press on f&f). But your system won't be like that. It'll be a toggle switch somewhere in the car. The nitrous activates when it sees you're at WOT(Its a safety mechanism).

So to answer your question, the nitrous will only spray when you have the pedal floored, and should floor it when you get traction after your launch..
