I'm getting a nos kit for my 95 240sx and here is what is included:

9oz NITROUS BOTTLEVALVE CAPNITROUS TRIGGERFEED LINE CLAMPS6FT.- FEED LINENITROUS NOZZLENITROUS FITTINGSN20 REFILL ADAPTER

What else should I do before shooting off this nitrous, like safety measurements, and preventing detonation. Is there anything else I should buy?

Thanks!

Are all NOS bottles interchangeable? Like for this kit, can I just upgrade teh bottle? Where the lines go are all the same size correct?

As long as the kit comes with AN type fittings you should be able to swap bottles really easily. this kit you're looking at, it isnt the one on ebay with the little BB-gun CO2 looking tanks is it?

Also, if it isn't a 'wet' kit, I'd stay away.I've been running a used NOS single nozzle wet kit for the last few months. It's only a 50 shot, but I havn't had to retard my timing any. So far so good. My compression test was normal, and my plugs look good.

Oh yeah, and a 9oz bottle sounds like it wouldn't last through 1st gear...My 10lb bottle lasts for maybe a week or so of moderate use (30seconds -1min of spray a day.. give or take)

What kind of kit do you have? I want one just like yours, something pretty much bolt on with little modifications and like 50 shot!

You didn't have to do any air/fuel adjustments or anything?

So you pretty much just bolted this on and ZOOOM!?

I think my kit is just a NOS sportsman fogger kit. Im not sure, but it's pretty much the universal 4-cyl single nozzle kit that they make. The install was pretty strait forward, just mount the bottle in the trunk (i used factory holes actually )Ran the line under the car, and mounted the solenoids to another factory hole on the strut tower. For activating the system, I bought a ZEX tps switch that runs off your throttle position sensor. I don't care for the microswitch that NOS uses.

Since the kit i'm using is a wet kit, it taps into the fuel line and adds the extra fuel needed, so you don't have to mess with tuning air/fuel.

Zex makes a wet kit now, and for ease of installation, they would probably be a bit easier than the kit i pieced together. Either way, installation is pretty easy and everything bolted on relativly easily. You will need a dremel and a drill though, for little things (like installing the nozzle into your intake)
