one of the previous owners did try bondo/fiberglass over the rust, the paint matching is a little off as you can probably see in the pics!
but as soon as i get my exhaust fixed and get some work on the chassis, i'll start on the bodywork!
my friend was checking out my REG. papers and he found it funny that the coulor is down as purple, he told me i should re-paint the car like the team burst s13, it would be cool but i don't know... i'll have to see.

Hey man. I live in NY so i know about rust. That looks pretty bad but with some good body work you should be good. I dont know if im too late or if ^^these^^ guys scared u off but heres a link to an Advance Auto part O-ring kit. If you dont have an Advance Auto around there just tell ur parts store to cross reference the part number. When i had my KA i always had a pack or two on me at all times. Good luck on the build.

Over-fenders would be easier to do considering you need to remove most of that rust on the quarter and raise the wheel-wells to do it properly. Although I wouldn't go that route unless you are doing a wider rim. Looks to be alot of rust repair, but if this isn't your daily then it can be done over time and come out pretty decent. Good luck with your 240.

funny story about that, its daily driven.
for the time being i'm gonna fill the hole with some A/B foam, that will keep the crap outta there! (kinda lucky coz we're getting a huge load of snow tomorrow)
then after i get my exhaust semi-legal and my chassis done ill weld up the hole and repaint/touch up.

my plans for now are to get it in to a more roadworthy position, fix what needs fixing! then i'm hoping to get a 5-speed conversion done.
once all thats done it will be my daily driven school car that i may take to the track on thursdays, but we shall see.
also sometime in the future i would like to put a silvia front end on.

and if you could find the springs/shocks that would be most appreciated, thanks man!

i just got back from town, and while i was out my car decided for the speedo to die.
not only is my speedo broken my wipers now have a mind of their own.
i have a sneaky suspicion that this has somethings to do with last nights re-wire of the stereo???

so last year i was reversed into at work, the fornt end was destroyed and the rear bumper was noticably dislodged.. so the coupe was sold to some kid on a farm.

but now im back, with a 90 hatch. and i believe i have done this properly this time, because it has a 5speed manual transmission.
this is gonna be my summer/drift car.. its gonna be a good year.
piccys later
