Hey Steve. Yeah. Englishtown is letting people on the track for free Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. But I heard that it's only one lap.

Megan coilovers (both street and track series) are $850 shipped from jspec.com. I think that's the cheapest out there, and they're pretty good quality (in terms of strength). I'm sure the shock design/valving is crap, but it shouldn't make much of a difference for drifting and street driving.

Hey TJ. We will definitely all meet up. Looking forward to Nicofest.

So I was going to make my front and rear bumper covers out of fiberglass to reduce weight for autocross, but then I realized that if I use a pignose front bumper, I can remove those stupid fender side pieces that go on the 91-94 S13s to match up with the chuki bumper. That would save some more weight. So now I want to make a pignose bumper in fiberglass. Let me know if anyone has a spare one I can borrow for a few days to make a mold from.

Also found an alarm system in my car when I was adjusting my clutch pedal. I saw some wires that looked out of place, took off the bottom dash panel and found this black box that says Chapman security system on it. My car must have been quite fancy back in the day with an alarm system and everything. I'm probably going to pull it out though.

Miro can you help me with something. Can you come to me or i will come to you and can i borrow(well use) some of your fiberglass 4 two things but prefferably one. I was gunna cut and wled my frame but i was told not to. So im just gunna spray sum rust stuff inside and the put fiberglass on the outside to keep waterout and keep it from rusting. And about 2 days ago i pulled on my trunk and the side of my foamn spoiler broke off so mayube i wanna fix that too lol. Ill tgive you a call wen i do 5spd swap as well. Hopefully i will do it in about a 2 weeks

For just filling small holes, you can get a fiberglass "kit" from most auto parts stores. It has resin and some fiberglass mat. Clean everything out, use masking tape or cardboard to cover the back side of the hole, spread on resin, put on mat, put resin on top of mat, roll out the air bubbles, and repeat for however many layers you want. Then you can sand and paint.

So it's pretty easy to do by yourself, but we can get together and do it if you want. Since I have no garage and it'll be raining for the next few days, here is probably not a good idea.

I did actually go over to Edgewater at around 10:15 ish, but since there were a lot of cops and no 240s, I left after like 10 minutes. Damn, I didn't see any chick with her tits out.

Nino, what time do you plan on going to Formula D in the morning? I'm going to be in Chicago next Thursday until Saturday. I'll be back in NJ on Sunday probably around 10am, so the earliest I can get there would be 11-12ish.

If anyone's free today, there's autocross at Giants Stadium at 2pm. I will be there.

Is that Formula D at Wall?

I kinda wanna stay away from Megan, idk. I was actually thinking about going with one of Tein's cheaper coilovers, idk I still have to look into it. Not even sure when I'll have the money. Plus at that point if I'll have that much saved up, I might as well get my wheels. I have my heart set on Volks

Where is this Edgewater, like what part of jersey?

It's going to be at Raceway Park; Wall closed down.

What Volks are you thinking of getting? Going to do 5-lug?

Edgewater is north Jersey, would be pretty much the same drive for you as Meadowlands or Secaucus.

Dat and I had a pretty exciting autocross battle today. We both drove my car, and I nearly had to face the embarrassment of getting beat in my own car. But I ended up beating him by an incredibly small margin.

Haha. You were only a second behind. With RT615s, your car would be faster than mine. Manual swap would be good and would make the car a little lighter.

Dat and I have been trying to find a garage to rent for a while to work on the cars, and we just found a pretty nice one in Fairview. It's a standalone garage, room for four cars, big door, and tall ceilings. The only bad part is the price: $650 per month.

If we get this place, we'll be getting a tube bender and notcher. Dat already has a welder. We'll have everything we need to put roll cages in our cars and do whatever else we want.

So basically, we really want to get this place. But we're not going to be able to afford it for long at $650 per month. So if anyone else wants to get in on it and share the space with us, we can split the cost and all have a really nice place to work.

Whatever, you're stylin' with those bronze painted wheels. If there was a stylin' award, you'd be all over that. Your friend with the Civic was stylin' too with that sweet hood and red wheels.

Next time you should ask one of the instructors to drive your car. Then you can see how far away you are from the "potential" of the car.
